Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 12, 2026

ClearDay helps you quit smoking, one clear day at a time. We built it to be private by default, and this policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Your quit-related details — such as how much you smoke, your triggers and reasons for quitting, your chosen currency and price, your quit date, your daily check-ins (including mood, stress, sleep, and cravings), and any notes you write. This is what powers your personal plan and progress.

Account information

If you choose to create an account to back up and sync your progress, we receive your name and email address from the sign-in option you pick. This is used to create and secure your account.

Purchase information

If you subscribe to ClearDay Premium, we’re told your subscription status (for example, active or expired) so we can unlock the right features. Payments are handled by the App Store — we never see or store your card details.

How the app is used

We collect information about how features are used — for example, which screens you open and when you complete a check-in — so we can understand what’s helpful and improve the app. We also collect basic crash and performance information to keep it stable.

Contacts (optional)

If you choose to add accountability partners, ClearDay asks permission to open your contacts so you can pick someone to reach in a tough moment. Your contacts are used only on your device and are never uploaded to us.

2. What we don’t collect

3. How we use your information

4. How your information is shared

We share information only with a small number of trusted providers who help us operate ClearDay — for example, to provide secure sign-in, safely store your synced data, understand app usage, and process subscriptions. They may only use it to provide those services to us.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users, or in connection with a business transfer (you would be notified of any such change). We do not sell your personal information.

5. How long we keep it, and deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the app’s settings, which removes your synced information from our systems. If you use ClearDay only as a guest, your information stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as to receive a copy of your information, to object to certain uses, or to complain to your local privacy regulator. We honor these requests regardless of where you live. To make a request, email ameed.say3h@gmail.com.

7. Children

ClearDay is intended for adults who want to quit smoking. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use ClearDay after an update means you accept the revised policy.
